《Grind》
グラインドやスライドのたびに痕跡が刻まれていく。石の表面は滑らかになり、エッジは丸みを帯び、段差はウィールやトラックによって削り取られていく。
『Grind』は、スケートボードが都市の構造物を少しずつ摩耗させていく様子と、それを阻止するために設置されたスケートストッパーや突起物（ノブ、スタッド）との対峙を追った写真シリーズだ。この街は一体誰のものなのだろうか？
Every grind and slide leaves a mark: stone smoothed, edges rounded, ledges eroded by wheels and trucks. Grind is a photo series which traces skateboarding’s slow erosion of the built environment, alongside the skate-stoppers, knobs, and studs designed to discourage skateboarding. Who does the city belong to?
