《ツクツクバイク1号・２号》Tsukutsuku Bikes 1 and 2

バイクをかたどった遊べる装置。ハンドルをひねると、ツクツクボウシの多彩な鳴き声を自由に奏でられる。2台を一緒に操作することで、ツクツクボウシ同士が互いの声に応えて「合いの手」を入れるように鳴く、一部のセミに特有の不思議な生態を再現することができる。

A playable device shaped like a motorcycle. Twisting the throttle lets visitors freely produce the varied calls of the tsukutsukuboshi cicada. Operating two units together recreates their curious behavior of answerin one another with brief interjected calls.

脚本家・編集者の宇城悠人、コンサルタントの吉村茜、インテリアデザイナーの前川優花による合同プロジェクト。人間ではない存在の知覚をモチーフに、「好奇心でつながる」デザインを制作する。
