『関』 Gateway

「関」とは禅では修行や悟りのための試練や課題（関所）のことで、この関所を超えた先にはどこへでもいけるという意味です。
善福寺公園を観ながらお茶を飲み、自分と向き合い、あすの活路を見い出す時間を過ごしていただければ幸いです。

“KAN” means a test or task for training and enlightenment in Zen, and it means that you can go anywhere beyond this gateway.
I hope you will spend time drinking tea while watching Zempukuji Park, facing yourself, and finding a way out for tomorrow.

ここは、座禅を通じて自分と向き合い、心の平安を保つ場所です。
坐禅をはじめ、茶道、俳句、作陶、日本料理など日本文化を学べる場所でもあります。
坐禅や日本文化に興味のある方はどなたでも参加できます。　
　
This is a place where you can face yourself and maintain peace of mind through zazen.
In addition to zazen, it is also a place where you can learn about Japanese culture, including the tea ceremony, haiku, pottery making and Japanese cuisine.
Anyone who is interested in zazen and Japanese culture is welcome to participate.
