西荻ナイトスキップ2024 ～生きとし生けるものたちのかつての地縁的場をたずねて
Nishiogi NightSkip 2024 – In Search of the Home Ground, Where Once All Living Creatures Thrived in Harmony
江戸時代初期に新田開発された松庵に生まれ育ち今も在住される、松庵小学校一期生の方にお話をうかがいます。文献には記されない土地の人ならではの、人だけでないさまざまないのちとの地縁的な生活があったことなどを語って頂きます。その後周辺を散策して身も心も時を行き来し、その場と一体となろうという時間です（スキップしなくても大丈夫です）。初めに会場の一欅庵さん（昭和8年築）のお話をうかがい見学もさせて頂きます。
One of the first graduates of Shoan Elementary School will share a story centered on the Shoan community, which was developed during the early Edo period (mid-1600s). He was born, raised, and still resides in Shoan, and he will tell you things not documented in historical records, such as how people cultivated a life deeply rooted in this region, engaging not only with fellow humans but also with various other forms of life. Afterwards, we will go out for a short walk in the surrounding area—a time to wander physically and spiritually, as if traveling through time and space, becoming one with the place. We will also have a talk about and tour of the venue, “Ikkyo-an” (built in 1933).

地を踏み弾み、からだを手放しその場と一体となる…表現以上に感覚を大切に様々なスキップを味わう。地に寝転び重力に親しむ空中遊泳スキップは醍醐味。スキップするしないは不問。2011年より地名を冠し変わりゆく場で話を聴きスキップを通してかけがえのない時空を共有している。
Stepping on the ground, bouncing, and releasing ourselves to be a part of the place…. We have been active in enjoying various types of skipping movement since 2011, appreciating our body senses more than bodily expression. Specifically, skipping in the air and feeling as if we are floating upward while we lie down on the ground stretching our arms and legs out is the prime time and the highlight of night-skipping. It does not matter whether you do an act of skipping or not. A night-skipping event with a place name on is a special event we offer; listening to a story of the place and watching ever-changing scenery and environment, we share a precious moment with each other through the act of skipping.
