中里介山の大長編小説『大菩薩峠』のノンストップ朗読。現在第8巻90ページに到達。今回は、盗賊の裏宿の七兵衛さんが高尾山にて樹木伐採・道路建設という現代にも通じる土木工事に出くわしたところから始まります。そこでひとつ、物語と現実のシンクロ、まちなかにはみだしてみる試みをいたします。ひたすら読むだけですが。

A nonstop reading of Kaizan Nakazato’s epic novel Dai Bosatsu Toge. We have now reached page ninety of Volume Eight. This installment begins with the bandit Shichibe at his hideout and his encounters with civil engineering work that still resonate today—tree felling and road construction on Mount Takao. From there, I will attempt to synchronize the story with reality, allowing it to spill into the streets. Nevertheless, I will simply keep reading nonstop.
