この作品は、胸像、立像、動く像といった公共彫刻の伝統を探求しつつ、その静的な記念碑性を問い直します。小さくても表情豊かな像を制作し、その身振りや配置が、互いの、鑑賞者、そして周囲の風景との相互作用を通して意味を生み出します。

This work explores public sculpture traditions-busts, standing, and moving figures-while challenging their static monumentality. I’ll create small, expressive figures whose gestures and arrangements generate meaning through their interaction with each other, the viewer, and the surrounding landscape.

イギリス出身のアーティスト。現在日本を拠点に活動。物体とそれが置かれる特定の場所との間の空間的関係に関心をもつ。創作活動では、文脈と環境が芸術作品の意味と体験をどのように形作るかを探求している。

I am a British artist based in Japan, interested in the spatial relationship between objects and the specific sites in which they are placed. My practice explores how context and environment shape the meaning and experience of artworks.
