この作品は空目空耳が起こるメカニズムを再現している。異なる時間軸で切り取られた写真を通して見た世界は普段とは違う見え方や時間の奥行、記憶の層を感じることができる。「普段見ている世界は個人の先入観によって形作られているのではないだろうか。」という問いを投げかけ、新しい気付きや視点を体感してほしい。

This work recreates the mechanisms that give rise to illusory sights and sounds. Looking at the world through photographs captured at different points in time reveals a different way of seeing, along with a sense of temporal depth and layers of memory that are not ordinarily perceptible. Questioning whether the world we normally see is shaped by individual preconceptions, this work invites viewers to experience new realizations and perspectives.

■プロフィール／Profile

建築設計を専門分野としながら、空間デザイン、木工制作、アートワークショップなどの実践をする建築家の水谷俊博が主宰する研究室。代表作品に「むさしの文学館」（2020年グッドデザイン賞）「里山フィールドミュージアムビジターセンター」（越後妻有2015）等。

A laboratory led by architect Toshihiro Mizutani, who specializes in architectural design while also practicing spatial design, woodworking, and art workshops. Representative works include “Musashino Literature Museum” (Good Design Award, 2020) and “Satoyama Field Museum Visitor Center” (Echigo-Tsumari 2015).
