《自由を求めて》I want freedom

素材：陶土 釉薬　　Materials: Pottery clay, glaze

庭で草むしりをしていると大量のミミズが現れた。
手に取ると、静かだったミミズが身をよじり抗い始める。
自然の中で生きている命が人の都合で自由を奪われた。
この姿に、 私は社会のルールに縛られ生きづらさを抱える私たち人間を重ねた。
異なる姿でも、自由を求め抗う生命の力を表す。

While weeding the garden, a large number of earthworms appeared.
When I picked them up, the worms, which had been quiet up to that point, began to wriggle and run amok.
Life in nature was deprived of its freedom for the convenience of mankind.
The sight reminded me of us humans, who are bound by the rules of society and find it difficult to live.
Although in different forms, this work expresses the power of life to seek and resist freedom.

現在、横浜美術大学で彫刻を専攻。
