《The Cardboard Garden》

3Dモデリング技術を用いて制作された3点の作品で構成されたインスタレーションです。本プロジェクトは、自然界の脆さに関わる生態系上の課題に対し、詩的な視点を提示するものです。そこに映し出されるのは、すべて再生段ボールで構築された装飾的な公共庭園のシミュレーション、あるいはイリュージョンです。

The installation features three printed fragments created by 3D modeling technology. The project offers a poetic perspective on the ecological challenges linked to the fragility of the natural world. The images present a simulation, or illusion, of an ornamental public garden constructed entirely from recycled cardboard.

1986年フランス生まれ。カナダのケベック・シティを拠点に活動。
インスタレーションを主軸とした創作活動を行っており、素材やコンセプトは主にエコロジーの領域に向けられている。

Born in France in 1986, Jeffrey Poirier lives and works in Quebec City, Canada.
He develops an installation-based practice which main material and conceptual affinities gravitate around ecology.
