《柳、揺れて、》 Willow, Wavering,

素材：麻糸、小枝、小石 　Materials: Linen thread, twigs, pebbles

柳のようになりたいと思ったことがある。善福寺公園にも柳の木がある。
柳の幹はどっしりと頑丈に構えているが、その枝葉は池の水面上をしなやかにたなびいている。柳絮とは、柳の種のこと。柳はその子どもを柔らかな綿に包み、風の中に漂う旅へと静かに送り出す。柳は何も喋らない。

I once wished to be like a weeping willow in Zempukuji Park. Its solid trunk stands firm while graceful branches drift above the water. The tree softly wraps its seeds—ryūjo—in cotton, quietly releasing them to the wind. The willow says nothing.

秋田公立美術大学出身。東京都在住。
編み物や縫い物、糸作りがベースの制作を主に行う。目に見えないことについて考え続けている。
